It can be difficult to know where to seek clinically safe and sound information to help us through the trials of life or to support others. Distilling truth from opinion can also be challenging.
Minds Thrive was developed as a direct response to this. We are an ever-growing library of resources, informed by clinical research and literature. Founders Dr Georgina Taylor-Adriaansen and Ruth Ryden are psychologist's whose combined experience of 40 years place them at the coal face of mental health. Minds Thrive also benefits from the knowledge and wisdom of contributors with experience in their fields and from contributors with lived experience.
Support in times of need
Admitting our struggles, even to ourselves, can be challenging. When we find the courage to reach out, we may find resources are scarce, waiting times are lengthy for NHS therapy sessions or private options are costly. Minds Thrive is not a direct replacement for therapy, but it can fill a gap by offering insights and understanding as well as practical strategies and ideas.
An annual subscription costs less than a single therapy session with a psychologist. Subscriptions give you access to our ever-growing library (see the Services page for more details).
Accessibility
We wanted to break down barriers to accessing resources that help improve wellbeing, and help minds to thrive. It is important to us that clinical information is delivered in formats that are understandable, relatable, high quality, dynamic, informative, and easy to use.
Our Living Library is designed to be digitally available with videos, audios, documents and resources. We have created a platform that is accessible at a time and place that works for you.
